Weekend Roll: Another Rain Race
While the weather was kind enough to cooperate for the Friday morning River Road run, it was in a less friendly mood for Sunday's Century Road Club Association (CRCA) Club Race. While the predicted thunderstorms never came to fruition the forecast was enough to scare off the less adventurous (or more reasonable) racers, leaving a very small number to contest the race -- the majority of which took place under steady rainfall. In the end the team scored second and third out of that very small A-field, following it up with some obligatory coffee and doughnuts. Scenes from another summer weekend in the city -- not pictured: the team taking home 2nd, 3rd and 5th in New Jersey's Giro del Cielo.
